UBP Group Deputy Chairman and President of the Cyprus Health Tourism Council Ahmet Savaşan said that the government of Prime Minister Ünal Üstel is the government that has done the most legislative work in the last 10 years.

 

National Unity Party (UBP) Group Deputy Chairman, Cyprus Health Tourism Council President Ahmet Savaşan, Pointing out that the only emphasis of the UBP government since its establishment was stability, he said, “We cannot say that we have achieved stability in every issue, but we have been the government that has done the most legislative work in the last 10 years.”.

The internal conflicts within the UBP and the main opposition Republican Turkish Party’(CTPSavaşan noted that they continued to work despite the difficulties caused to them by the attitude of the Prime Unal Üstel’s presidency, that they were the government with the best legislative work of the last 10 years and that this was based on concrete data.

“WE PASSED AROUND 110 LAWS, ESPECIALLY ON HEALTH”

Stating that the Law on Municipalities, which had been waiting for decades in our country but could not be implemented, was passed under the UBP government Ahmet Savaşan, He also pointed out that 500 pages of laws, especially on health, were passed.

Noting that around 110 laws have been passed in all areas, Savaşan pointed out that these were done in a period of only 2.5-3 years and said that this is a very important indicator.

“UNFINISHED PROJECTS COMPLETED, NEW PROJECTS BUILT”

Ahmet Savaşan, The Prime Minister will be responsible for the implementation of each project that is not carried out or left unfinished. Unal Üstel was finished or started to be finished during his term.

Pointing out that apart from the projects completed or nearing completion during the Üstel period, new projects have also started, Savaşan said that Ercan Airport, divided roads, Lefke road. He stated that projects such as Nicosia North Ring Road, Kyrenia Ring Road were realized.

Noting that some of the projects have been completed and others are being worked on at full speed, Savaşan emphasized that investments in health have also increased.

Stating that Güzelyurt Hospital has remained idle, Savaşan announced that the hospital will be completed at the end of this year.

Stating that the work at Kyrenia Akçiçek Hospital has been completed and will be opened to the service of the public in a short time, Savaşan said that the work at Kyrenia Military Hospital has also been completed and put into service.

Noting that many health centers have been repaired and renovated, Savaşan stated that important steps will be taken in the field of health in 2025.

“WE TOOK CARE TO USE THE TIME GIVEN TO US BY OUR PEOPLE VERY WELL”

Prime Minister Unal Üstel government, the internal opposition within the UBP and the main opposition party CTP’Savaşan noted that the government has taken steady steps despite the attitude of the Turkish government and said, “The government could not take all of the 10 steps it should have taken, but it took 7 of them.”.

Pointing out that 4.5 years of the 5-year term given to them by the people are about to be left behind, Savaşan said that they took care to use this period very well and that they will always work harder for the people as a government.

Stating that their aim was to hold the elections on time, Savaşan said Unal Üstel’s has often voiced this as well.

“Our biggest goal is to pass the laws that our country expects and needs,” Savaşan said, adding that they have done a good job in meeting the expectations of the people and that they have done more positive work than negative since the day they came to government.
